The classroom sessions have ended and the Apiary begins this Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 a.m.

 The March 4th  Apiary Spring Event will feature-

  • Lighting a smoker ( Ricky Manning)

  • Feeding stations  ( Tony Chapman, Kelli Spector)

  • Building Hive Stands ( Mike Myers, Shane Masterson)

  • Bear Fencing  ( Mike Elliot)

  • Frame and Super assembly (  Mr. Jim Poe)

  • Photography  ( Shelley Contin-Hubbs)

  • Hive Inspection ( Chris Aamodt)

Location: Historic Johnson Farm
3346 Haywood Road  (across the street from Rugby Middle School)
Hendersonville, NC 28791
Time: 11 A.M.
March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 8, 22 – subject to weather

Cancellation Policy

  • Weather related closures will track to BR Community College. HCBA will post closing information on twitter, facebook, 828 BEE 5623 and website
  • Class cancellations will be rescheduled by extending class end date
